FUOYE Post-UTME: Requirements, Format and Practice

The Federal University Oye-Ekiti has run its post-UTME as an online screening through a dedicated e-campus page. The most detailed coverage we could read is from education news sites rather than a FUOYE notice, so this guide labels those facts as reported and tells you where the university's portal is the authority.

What the screening is

ULearngo's report of the 2025/2026 notice said the screening was online, from 28 July to 23 August 2025, using the portal at ecampus.fuoye.edu.ng/putme. Other coverage said results were published on the same portal and that cut-off marks by department were later released. No source we read describes test questions, subjects or a duration, so we cannot tell you whether FUOYE sets a paper. For 2026/2027, a ULearngo post said the portal had reopened and listed 16 August 2026 as the closing date.

Who can apply

As reported for 2025/2026 (ULearngo):

• FUOYE as first choice in the 2025 UTME with a score of at least 160.
• At least five credit passes including English Language and Mathematics in relevant subjects, with a maximum of two sittings (one sitting for Medicine and Surgery).
• A valid printed UTME result slip.
• Direct Entry candidates needed one of: two A'level credit passes in relevant subjects, ND at Upper Credit, NCE at Credit, HND at Lower Credit, or a good first degree for specific programmes.

We did not find a confirmed UTME score or programme list for 2026/2027, so check the FUOYE portal and the JAMB brochure before choosing your course.

How to apply

Open the FUOYE post-UTME portal (ecampus.fuoye.edu.ng/putme in 2025; ULearngo's 2026 report names putme.fuoye.edu.ng/utme, so follow the link from fuoye.edu.ng), read the registration steps, then log in with your JAMB registration number. Provide a working email address and phone number, verify your email through the link sent, pay the 2,000 naira fee online with a debit card, upload your O'level results from WAEC, NECO or NABTEB, and print your registration slip. Direct Entry applicants also upload their statement of results.

Timeline

Dates reported by ULearngo:

Education sites gave several different extension dates for 2026/2027, from 2 to 16 August, so follow the portal. For later cycles see the 2027 dates page.

How your score is worked out

FUOYE has not published an aggregate formula in the notices we read. Departmental cut-off marks were reported after the 2025/2026 screening, but without a verified explanation of how the screening score was built, we do not quote them. Our aggregate calculator guide shows the general method.

What is not published

Not published in sources we could verify: test format and content, the aggregate formula, the UTME minimum for 2026/2027 and an official departmental cut-off list. Because the news coverage conflicts on deadlines, always take the final date from the portal.

Before you pay or submit

Scam sites copy university notices every admission season, so check these before you part with money for FUOYE:

• Type the portal address yourself or follow the link from the university's own website; do not use links sent on WhatsApp or social media.
• Confirm the fee on the portal screen and keep the payment receipt and your application slip.
• Compare the name on your JAMB profile, O'level result and birth documents letter by letter, because mismatches cause avoidable problems.
• Never pay anyone who promises FUOYE admission, leaked questions or "expo"; they are scams and malpractice can cost you your place.

A practice plan for FUOYE

1. Make the UTME score count. FUOYE's screening is reported as online with uploads, so your UTME score is the principal lever. Your UTME score is the part of the process you can still influence, so spend most of your time on the four UTME subjects. Our guide to scoring 300 in JAMB is a good place to start.
2. Keep your O'level record clean. Check that your name, date of birth and subjects match across your JAMB profile, result slips and birth documents. FUOYE's registration needs a valid email and phone number to be active, so use ones you can access.
3. Sharpen English and Mathematics every day. Short sessions on English Language practice and Mathematics practice help with the UTME and with any aptitude test a university adds later.
4. Run timed blocks. In the last month before the UTME, practise in 40-question timed sets with a visible clock; CBT exam tips explains how to pace yourself.
5. Set a weekly rhythm. Plan five study days and one review day, and log your scores each week so you can see which topics are slipping before the next UTME and screening cycle.

Original example: If a pencil costs 50 naira, how many can you buy with 1,200 naira? 1,200 divided by 50 is 24 pencils. This is our own question, not from FUOYE.
